Chinese Botanicals

    No other medical system in the history of the world, perhaps outside of Aruvedic medicine of India, has produced more documentation on botanical medicine than China. Theirs is a history of great epidemics and disease that forced them to look to nature for answers. According to many resources, everything has medicinal value and can be used, to some degree, in treating illness. So one finds things such as deer antler, conch shells, sea vegetation and many other strange and unusual items in the Chinese Materia Medicas.
